Overview

Itinerary

Our staff will be waiting for you in the airport of Marrakech. When you arrive, we meet and we take you the hotel to relax. If you arrive in the morning, you will have time to see and walk around the medina of Marrakech with our official local guide to show you the historical land marks of the town. Free evening to enjoy your time. Overnight in the hotel.

We will start our journey from Marrakech heading to our destination Dades Gorges. We will travel across Tizi n Tichka pass 2260 metres. Afterwards, we continue our trip driving to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, an old popular and best-preserved Kasbah. We will tour around the castle before we continue our route towards Dades Gorges through Skoura enjoying the fantastic valley of BoumalneDades where we will spend the night.

This is another day with other things to experience and other places to explore. We leave our first day’s experience behind and we get enthusiast to discover the secrets of our next journey. We drive to Todra gorges to have a walk among huge cliffs with running streams in between, figure out how berber people somehow live, behave, attitudes...and we go ahead again to Sahara via Erfoud- Rissani then into Merzouga. When we drop off in Merzouga we will have a cup of mint tea (Berber hospitality). Night in the hotel.

After your breakfast in the hotel, we have a day off to discover and explore the secrets of the Desert lifestyle. We take you to enjoy good time with Gnaoua families, which are families originated from the Black Saharian countries, but nowadays they settle in the Desert of Morocco. Afterwards, we go ahead to make a stop with a beduin family living tents. Have lunch, and drive back to the hotel to have a rest and get ready for the camel ride experience along Erg Chebbi Dunes in order to spend the night in the middle of the desert under a berber tent.

Wake up early dawn to see the beauty of sunrise in the desert. Subsequently, you takecamels to the hotel. After having breakfast and shower, we aim to spend the next night in the African Hollywood “Ouarzazate city” which is the taking place of many movies such as Gladiator, Babel, Robben hood.... We go through Draa Valley and Agdz city before we cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains to arrive toOuarzazate late afternoon.

After having the breakfast in the hotel, we take the route fromOuarzazate to Marrakech with the sightseeing of Atlas studio to have an idea about the scenarios and materials used in movies. We cross high Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

In the morning we pick you up from the hotel/riad into the airport. End of our services.

  • Down jacket, all-season sleeping bag, duffel bag and trekking map(in case if you don’t have your own. Down jacket, sleeping bag and duffel bag must be returned after completion of the trip)
  • First Aid Medical Kit(Your guide will carry the Medical Kit but we also advise to bring yourself for your own use, as far as possible)
  • All the required permits and paperwork
